Verbal Autopsy is a module related to the respondent’s death history. If during the main wave data collection it is discovered that an HDSS respondent has died, it will be recorded. Next, to find out the history of the respondent who died, Verbal Autopsy data will be collected which will be asked to the next of kin. This verbal autopsy module is asked after the main wave has been completed.
