The number of births among HDSS Sleman respondents based on birth status for each female household member recorded as pregnant during the HDSS data collection wave. The outcomes of the child’s condition at birth are categorized as live birth, stillbirth, and abortion/miscarriage. The number of births among HDSS Sleman respondents based on birth attendants in each HDSS data collection wave is categorized according to the attendant at delivery, namely obstetrician, general practitioner, midwife, nurse/other health worker, traditional birth attendant, and no attendant.
